    The Sheelin Antique Lace Museum is situated in the village of Bellanaleck, just 4 miles from the island town of Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
     It has won various awards including the twice winning 'Gulbenkin Most Improved Museum of the year' and Commendation in the 'British Airways Tourism Awards'. The Museum houses approximately 700 exhibits, illustrating all the five main types of Lace made in Ireland. On display are Irish Crochet Wedding Dresses, Wedding Veils, Shawls, Parasols, Collars, Baby Bonnets, Christening Gown, Flounces, Jackets and many more items.
     The entrance to the museum houses a shop which sells traditional Irish antique lace and linen. Books on lacemaking, hand crafts, postcards and other souvenirs can be bought as well as other select items.These can also be purchased on this site.

Open Monday to Saturday (10.00am to 6.00pm, Closed for lunch 1-2pm) Nov-March by appointment only
Admission: £3.00 (parties of 15 people or more £1.50)
                    Children £1.00
