Set in the picturesque village of Bellanaleck, The Sheelin Lace Shop is a treasure trove of Antique Irish Lace items and other vintage textiles and clothing. Items for sale include antique wedding dresses, wedding veils, shawls, collars, bonnets, christening gowns, 1920s dresses, feather fans and headpieces.
You can also find the beautiful handmade 'Sheelin' own label line of accessories such as wedding bags, chokers and pendants. These are created by owner Rosemary Cathcart using antique lace pieces. And of course there are gifts such as handmade soaps, and jewellery.
The adjoining Sheelin Antique Irish Lace museum is a beautiful attraction and one of the largest collections of Antique Irish Lace in the world, displaying Youghal Needlelace, Inishmacsaint Needlelace, Crochet, Limerick and Carrickmacross. All the lace dates from between 1850 to 1900.

The award winning Sheelin Teashop (pictured right) is adjacent to the Lace Shop and museum and is perfect for lunches and teas with an outdoor garden area. Seats approx 50. Large parties should book by calling 02866 348232.

Directions from Enniskillen:
Take the A509 for Dublin. Approx 4 miles to the village of Bellanaleck. Situated opposite filling station.
Access by boat from Erne Marine.

Opening times:
Shop: 10am-6pm Mon-Sat. All year round.
Museum: 10am-6pm April-Oct.

Museum Admission: £2.50 per person.
Children free. Parties of 15 people or more £2 per person.
